Rec’d a discharge last year and I just got a letter from a towing company in an old repossession who is trying to collect on a charge. I did not know the charge existed and therefore did not include them in the bankruptcy. Do I have to pay them? I called the attorney who said our relationship ended with the discharge and he would have to charge for more assistance! Gee, thanks.

My son needs to file bankruptcy. He is trying to straighten out his life and he needs to get his credit in order after bad relationship and some not so smart moves when he was younger. He is 27 and of course he doesn’t have hardly any money, and I told him I had heard that one can file it basically themselves and not pay an attorney. I used to have a ton of paperwork on this subject but that has been long ago and thngs have changed. I know I could do it for him if I had a reputible place to help me through it. Anyone know of a free or cheap place for us to start? This is not a complicated one either because he has nothing, just all of the bills. I have most of them. With the economy etc., I went through a horrible time – my marriage ended, my house foreclosed and I filed bankruptcy. That was 2 years ago. I’ve met a great person and there is a huge possibility of a very real relationship with her. I feel it important to be up front but I don’t want to lose her. Should this be a deal breaker? Tell her sooner or later or is it none of her business?
I’m wondering at what point in a relationship do you tell the person you’re with that you had to file bankruptcy before?
Ok so here it is… I question a lot right now, because my girl and I have started on fire and I mean fire.. She was the CO of this company (Hospitality Group) and I was a G Manager/ Promoter of one of the businesses. Well the owner (my friend) liked her so a lot of jealous went on behind closed doors.So we both left… I was making about 4000 cash a month and so was she… Then I decided to start a promotional business throwing events and concerts.. Started as being funded by me.. I was living downtown by myself. I had an 2006 f150 i have owned for 2 years almost paid off … From my past relationship. Well I kept it in my past gfriends name because she had better credit(I have no credit and I was getting paid cash)= no loan… The past gfriend decides to file bankruptcy and takes my truck well So now I am living a block away from work still functioning fine when the new gfriend ask me to me move in so … well i do and then she lets me drive one of the cars… Well we both quit our jobs at the sametime and open a limo company and a promotional company together. We are both smart and motivited so we have 3 sucessful events … Net 00 right out the gate we blew some of it paid some bills and put money back into other events… Then we start taking losers and the money haulted completly.. All the time we are out wining and dining blowing money left and right. 100 here a 100 there … all the time madly in love and living the dream… Well next thing I know we run out of money… Well she pulls out ,000 out of her savings to save us over the next 3 months. So during this time we both find jobs 2 months in… She got a salery job while I got a outside sales job…well she got paid while i have strugled on outside sales from b2b sales in dec(I made nothing thru training and learning). .. All b2b sales normally shuts down in dec. … Now she resents me and stop being affectionate and also talks down to me. Tears me down completely.. This pisses me off makes me feel like I am a loser, because she supported us for 3 months… I have had a relationship where I paid for everything for 3 years of course it didnt work out ,but 3 months…. The Mother tells her to break up with me, because I am struggling at my job thru dec… So we do get in this fight over the phone .. Saying that she cant take this anymore that she can have better and that I am the worst mistake of her life.. and I move out… 6 hours later she text baby " I feel like I cant breathe right now i have this empty hole in my chest" I need you back your my bestfriend and husband to be.. calls and saying… I have been sucessful before and I will be, but having someone that you are in love with tell you that you arent good enough is deft working against my confidence…
I love this Girl more than anything and I am totally proud that she is a rockstar when it comes to careers… I treat her like my queen!!!! She wants me to move back in? It has been 3 days that we have been seperate and she has ask me to come over 2 of those and spend the night and has acted completly like she was when we first got together…
I say this we are a great couple get along like the best couple we are best freinds most of the time..
The fights are resentment from the money.. She has supported us for 3 months and yes I do feel guilty amd yes I work Everyday b2b sales are a pipeline business…
What should I do? Does She love me?

There are no Children in our relationship. I recently found out that my wife of 10 years committed adultery with a roommate we had living with us. I want for us to overcome this problem and other smaller problems within our marriage. I already forgave her for her intercession. After I found out about her infidelity, I went to a men’s retreat, and have become a reborn Christian. I have never cheated on my marriage vows and still hold these vows sacred even after all that has happened, I Love my wife and want her back. I have written to her 5 pages of my faults in our marriage, and have asked for forgiveness for my faults. She says that I am forgiven from her lips but her heart says otherwise. I know that I have the biblical right to divorce her, but this is not what I want, I want to work with her in mending our marriage. However, she will not stop taking phone calls from her lover, we have been separated for a month now (not my decision) and I believe that she (although I don’t have proof) living with him. Because she will not talk to me, I don’t even know where she is living. (Don’t judge me here I have my reasons). She insists that she is going to file for divorce… so if the bible says I have the right to divorce her, I can, but this is not what I want. The bible also says that God hates divorce, and to do all things possible to mend the marriage. This is what I want but she does not want any part of it. I have forgiven her, and have treated her with respect as my family has, and she continues to treat us like garbage. So I ask again how do you help an unrepentant adulteress find Gods Light and Love????? Should I divorce her, or should I let her file for the divorce? When do you take off your wedding band, when the vow is broken, or when the divorce is finalized? Since we are not living together at the moment and I have lost everything in my life and yes I do mean everything, my wife, my home, my job, my business, having to declare bankruptcy, and some serious medical problems. I have found that God did not turn his back on me rather I turned my back on him for many years. I am now rediscovering who I am and I am taking steps to better myself. we’ve been married for 9 years, together for 12. to be honest i strayed early in our relationship, but never since. i owned a company for 5 years bringing home 6 figures a year living very well. recession hit i sold my company for pennies on the dollar, but i did have a job, only making 30k plus commission. she got a job as a waitress, i started to get suspicious when she was coming home later and later like 2 to 3 am. checked phone records she was seeing this guy who was supposedly married, she was helping him find a house? went on blinding from me for 3 months, i asked to stop and she did, we’ll after i spoke with him, and he was quite apprehensive on discussing his relationship with my wife.recently i have no choice but to file for bankruptcy, and i am losing my home, just cannot afford it anymore. everyday i feel myself getting depressed about everything. many times i have felt like ending it all, but we have 2 kids, whom i adore with all my love. i have tried every way i can think of to make this work, but i just don’t know if she Truly loves me anymore? i feel more of a convenience than a husband? please help

my credit was stolen about five years ago, i was in hawaii with my husband who was in the army at the time, but my credit says i bought a car in Oh and a house in WV, the thing is my parents stole my credit. i can’t press charges against them, even though my husband wanted nothing more than for me to do that. they also got several credit cards in my name. basically my credit is shot. i refused to press charges on them because they are my parents, but w/o pressing charges i am responsible to pay back the debt, it’s been 5 years and the debt just keeps adding up, we’ve already paid several thousands of dollars to try and restore my credit. i was estranged from my parents for 8 years and we just started building a relationship before all this happened. is it wrong to file bankruptcy to get rid of the debt, my credit is shot, i still owe about 20,000 that i know of, nothing me and my husband own is in my name, but with a new baby and another child in the house and a car payment, we can’t afford to keep paying on stuff we didn’t even get. is it wrong to file bankruptcy in this case? or to press charges against your parents when they do that? they admitted it when they got caught, but never even apologized to me. what do you think? and which bankruptcy should i file? 7 or 13 thank you
my parents already made it clear they won’t pay any of it back. they said we should ignore the bills. we can’t do that. i’m just afraid of how it will look to my children, if i put their grandparents in prison, especially when they are older. and isn’t it mean to put your parents in jail, though they did ruin my credit, and our lives. we have had to cut back on so much stuff because we’re paying off their bills. so bankrubtcy is not an option, will my kids hate me later for putting my parents in jail?
