I am 27 and am a little over 83000 dollars in debt. I have 3 unsecured loans and 2 credit cards.
All of the loans are within the last 6 months.
My concerns are that I lied on all of my loan applications. I inflated my income to help me get the loan. Not just for the intent of getting the loan, but because my company I was working for kept promising that I would get these huge raises. My boss kept saying "you will get 50% more within the next couple weeks" so I assumed I was going to get the income increases so when I applied for the loans, I put down what I was supposed to be getting.
Now I left this company 4 months ago because of this crap. Also because I was uncomfortable in the environment. My boss was coming in drunk, (I hate alcohol), my coworkers were dealing drugs within range from me. I did not want to be a a part of that.
I started looking for a job right after I left. I was making 42000/year and I needed to make at least 90000/year to cover my bills. It all started with 2 personal loans I took out last November to pay off my credit cards. Then it turned into the "robbing peter to pay paul" and I had to take out another loan to help cover the differential from what I was making to what I needed to cover my bills.
The thing is, I want to be honest. If they ask, I will be fully open and explain why I lied on my applications. I was promised I would be getting those raises and I was depending on them. Now my boss has been recently let go as far as I heard last because of I am sure of things he has continued to do after I left. Even when I was there, I told HR about what he was doing, and they did not do anything.
How much trouble can I get into?

I am in over my head in debt. Every month I have to "borrow" at least 0 extra dollars just to pay my bills. My husband and I recently separated. He left me to take care of all the bills. Currently I am a 4th grade teacher and make about ,000 a year. Every debt is in my name (including a car that I got in my name for him, that he now refuses to pay for because someone else put another car in their name for him–his sister). He didn’t have a job at the time, so most of the major stuff that we have gotten was in my name when we got married.
I am probably about ,000 in debt with credit cards; ,000 in student loans; 00 in personal loans; ,000 in car payments (2 cars–1 is almost paid for).
I have no extra income other than the child support (5 a month for 2 small babies that I raise alone). I use the child support on them instead of on me or bills because that is what it is for.
Am I an idiot for trying to pay all these bills off monthly and have no money extra to buy groceries and gas???Should I just file bankruptcy?
That is all you get in MS for 2 kids based on his income and he has a pretty decent factory job (around here that is the best you’ll get with no degree).
I don’t own a home. I rent. Yes he ran up the cards by refusing to give me money to pay the bills, so I had to use the cards.

I would love to open up my own family daycare but don’t know how to do it. I only want to keep 5-6 kids so that I won’t have to hire anyone and so that I can keep afloat.
I used those credit cards to pay bills and buy groceries and necessities because he would always cry "I’m broke!" and had a very good paying job. He never wanted to give money He told me I had to ask for it.
Yes I have two cars. No one will buy the new one ( a malibu maxx) because I am upside down in it and I want to keep the older one because it is a Camry and I will have paid it off in May of next year.
I live in Mississippi so that is all you get for two kids.

I am looking for an unsecured personal loan between ,000 and ,000–but I have past bankruptcy and a low credit score. I have researched and only found the same companies that keep turning me down or companies that want a fee to help me find a loan. Are there other alternatives to these? NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!
This loan is for an expansion on my business, and I have heard of prosper.com– just recently and I have joined. However, it looks like people with with a grade of E and the amount I am needing for my business may not get filled.
I also have only applied for 2 personal loans in the past 3 months. I do know how credit works and have managed to raise my score by 100 points, but this is something that does take time.
Unfortunately I am losing money without the money I need for an expansion, so I don’t have time.

I am K in debt (credit cards and personal loans). Monthly payments consume over 50% of my income. My husband is debt free has a good income. We have an interest-only home loan that will change to an adjustable Jan. 2010. There is no way we can afford this new loan monthly payment if 60% of my income is going toward my credit card debt. We also cannot sell or refinance because our home has lost 35% of its value. Not having to pay 60% of my income every month would help us immensely.
Any suggestions? Should I file for bankruptcy?

I make a good salary, but our home moretgage is too much for us to handle (it was a teaser rate and we are not even covering the interest). It is causing us not to have ANY money to do anything else. Considering I am the only one on the mortgage, would it be wise to go ahead and just file for bankruptcy and leave the home?
What happens to my other debts (credit cards, personal loans, rental property, etc)?????
Will it negatively affect my wife’s credit profile?
Will I still be able to finance cars, future homes, etc?
How long does it remain on my report?
