Should I wait to move out of my mom's house and build my credit before moving out?

I plan to move out of my mom’s house and have my own apartment or live with a roommate by next year. The problem is that I filed bankruptcy last year and afraid that I will be denied by most places when it comes to renting an apt. I also would like to get my master’s degree before moving out so I can be more established. What should I do? Thanks.

I think most apartment complexes will still take you. They will just require a bigger deposit. But if I were you I would stay put and save all the money you can. Why move out and waste money on rent when you don’t have to.

why dont you do all of that- before moving out?
    doesnt it make more sense?

I think you should wait until you are positive that you are financially stable.

Why are you filing bankruptcy at such a young age? That’s jsut screwing you over for so long.

I’m 28 and i still live with my parents.

I would live with them as long as you can, get your masters degree first.

wherever you live chances are it will be MUCH less than having your own apartment, unless you don’t get along with your mother or soemthing.
