I didn't have a job when I filed bankruptcy but I just got one?
I filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy but havent been to the creditors meeting yet. I already signed all the papers and was sent a letter on how much they are going to be taking from each of my husbands pay checks. I just got a call this morning for a job interview and got the job will this affect my bankruptcy at all since I already had a set amount I would be paying?

It may. Notify your bankruptcy attorney of your new job. Your "set amount" that you are paying may change. Chapter 13 differs from Chapter 7 in that "substantial" increases in income do need to be reported to the trustee and may require you to increase your Ch 13 Plan payments. Local practice dictates what counts as a "substantial" increase in income in your Federal district, and the specific factors driving your Plan will dictate whether you need to increase your payments when your income increases.
