To answer your question, I would HIGHLY suggest you not try to go alone. I would contact a reputable attorney local to you to start the process. If you truly cannot afford an attorney, then he can petition the court to have them reimburse him for his assistance in preparing your case. They do not often grant that petition, but they sometimes do. If the attorney doesn’t want to help you in your case, he should be able to refer you to local organizations that could perhaps help you in your endeavor.

July 21st, 2010 at 10:49 pmyou would still have to pay filing fees – not cheap, and without a lawyer YOU will have to figure out on your own what you need to do and hope you are doing it right
